Hi, I’m Chunky!

Yep, the name says it all—I’m built low to the ground, long like a dachshund, and a little round in the middle. I’m 4 years old, weigh in at 16 lbs, and come wrapped in golden fur with soulful brown eyes.

My foster mom says I’m the  total package :

    •    ✅ Great with kids

    •    ✅ Cat-friendly

    •    ✅ Dog-friendly (big or small!)

    •    ✅ Kennel trained (though I’d rather be in your lap!)

    •    ✅ Housebroken

    •    ✅ And best of all… I don’t bark!

I’m super chill and easygoing—just a laid-back little guy looking for someone to love. There’s a whole crew of humans and animals in my foster home, and I fit right in. I may be a little shy at first, but give me some extra love and patience, and soon my tail will be wagging like crazy (it’s the fastest thing about me!).

We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
